7:00 PM - 8:15 PM, MT
In this four-week series, we will explore faith amidst uncertainty and challenging experiences.
On a superficial level, we understand that life is impermanent, and therefore, uncertain. To digest the reality of this truth, however, can be overwhelming for our somatic and psychological systems. In these times of a global pandemic, economic upheaval, environmental devastation, racial injustice, frightening political landscapes, it can feel as though we are drowning in the truth of uncertainty.
Many of us have been isolated from family and friends, and some have been left without work, or have been bombarded with supporting others. We don’t know what the outcome will be, and the question becomes, how do we show up in the meantime? And, where do we put our faith if everything is uncertain?
In this 4 week Yin Yoga series, we will unearth our true refuge to discover that part of us that is always ok, even when nothing is ok. Storytelling, poetry, and dharma talks will be given while we will nourish our nervous system through yin yoga postures, deep breathing and guided meditations.
All classes will take place over Zoom at 7pm MT Monday evening. Recordings will be sent out the day after class, with a synopsis of the lesson. Individual questions and support will be provided.
