Embodiment:
Honours and listens to the whispers of the earth in you.
Is the process of excavating the meaning behind your wordless impulses and redeem them as sources of wisdom.
Asks you to question the structures of "good" versus "evil" and teaches you how to hold both as a part of the human experience.
To me, placing “yin” in front of a word as big as “yoga” means that the feminine, slow, receptive principle must also envelop the other branches of “yoga”: including the way we live our life.
Perhaps “yin yoga” is a bigger concept than what we thought, a yoga evolving from its long patriarchal past into a deep respect for the feminine voice.
